Can’t Access a Shared Project? “Project No Longer Available”
If you were invited to view or order a shared Mimeo Photos project but see a message stating “Project no longer available,” it usually means there is a mismatch between the invited email address and the account you’re currently signed into.
Why This Happens:
Signed in with a Different Email Address
Shared project invitations are tied to the exact email address the project owner invited.
If you sign in using a different email, even if it’s another account you own, the project will not appear and you may see the error.
Example:
The invitation was sent to hello123@email.com
You created an account or signed in with hello456@email.com
The Shared Project Was Removed or Invitations Changed
The project owner may have deleted the Share Page or removed your invitation after it was originally sent. If this happens, the link in your email will no longer work.
How to Resolve this Error:
1. Confirm the Email Address Invited
- Open the invitation email and note the address it was sent to.
- Make sure you sign in using that same email.
Tip: If you have multiple Mimeo Photos accounts, sign out first, then sign back in with the invited email.
2. Check “Shared with Me” in Your Account
After signing in with the correct email:
-
Click your avatar in the top navigation
-
Select Shared with Me
-
Look for the project there
If it appears, you can access and order normally.
3. Ask the Owner to Resend the Invitation
If you signed in with the correct email and still see the error, the Share Page may no longer be active.
Contact the person who shared the project and ask them to resend the invite or confirm your email address is still included.
Still Unable to Access the Project?
If you believe you are signed in with the correct email and the project should still be available, we can help check the invitation status.
Click the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of mimeophotos.com and share:
- The email address you were invited at
- The name of the person who shared the project
