macOS Compatibility Requirements for the Mimeo Photos & Motif Applications
To ensure the best experience, our Mimeo Photos and Motif apps require macOS Catalina (10.15) or newer.
If you're running macOS Mojave (10.14) or an earlier version, the app will no longer be supported, and you may experience issues such as:
- Being unable to download or install the app
- Errors when attempting to open the app or your saved projects
What You Can Do
If you're on Mojave or an older version, updating to macOS Catalina or later will allow you to:
- Launch the Mimeo Photos or Motif app again
- Access your existing photo projects
- Create new books, calendars, and cards without issue
Note: We do not offer a previous version of the app for older macOS versions
If you're not ready to update macOS yet, you can use our web-based app at www.mimeophotos.com to start a new project.
Important: Projects created within Mimeo Photos or Motif in Apple Photos are not transferrable to the website.
Reordering Previously Purchased Projects
Looking to reorder a book or calendar you made in the past? There's a quicker option!
Orders placed on or after January 31, 2024—while signed into your Mimeo Photos account—may be eligible for our Re-Order tool on mimeophotos.com. It lets you quickly place a repeat order without opening the original project on your Mac.
