Changing Your Mimeo Photos or Motif Account Email Address
At this time, it is not possible to change the email address associated with your Mimeo Photos and Motif account. Your order history and web-based projects are directly tied to the email address used when the account was created.
Why Can't We Change Account Emails?
Our system links web based projects and order history to your original account email. Because of this integration, there is currently no process in place to transfer projects or link order history from one email to another.
What To Do If You Need a Different Email:
If you want to use a new email address, you’ll need to create a new account using that email.
To create a new Mimeo Photos and Motif account, visit mimeophotos.com and sign up with your new email.
Once your new account is created:

Website: You can log in at mimeophotos.com to begin creating projects online.

Mimeo Photos application: Open the app on your Mac and click the avatar icon in the lower-right corner to sign in with your new email. This step is important to make sure your orders are linked to your new account and appear in your order history online.

Motif application: Motif uses the same credentials as your Mimeo Photos account. After registering on the website, sign in with your new email during checkout in Motif.
What Happens to My Existing Projects?

Mac App Projects (Mimeo Photos and Motif):
Projects created inside the Photos app or within the Mimeo Photos/Motif Mac apps are stored locally on your device. They will not be deleted if you create a new account. Simply log into your new account in the app to have your projects properly linked.

Web Projects:
Projects created on the Mimeo Photos website and iOS app are tied directly to your account online. Because they’re web-based, they work a bit differently from projects made in the Mac app.
How to Preserve Projects for Reordering
If you anticipate needing additional copies of projects tied to your old account:

Export a production-ready PDF of any Mac app projects while logged into the old account.

Web projects cannot be exported directly.
However, if you’ve already placed an order for a web project, Support can provide a PDF copy upon request. Available only for orders placed after December 2023. -
Use the Import Site to reorder projects using those PDFs in the future.
