Why Is My Order Delayed in Production?
While we always strive to deliver your projects on time, there are occasions when an order may take a little longer to leave our facilities. This article explains why production delays can happen, how to check on your order, and what to do if your delivery date is impacted.
Why Production Delays Happen
In some cases, your order may not ship as quickly as expected due to:
-
High order volume: Busy periods, such as holidays, can lead to extended production times.
-
Equipment maintenance: Routine checks and adjustments may temporarily slow production.
-
Observed holidays: Our print facilities close on certain holidays, which can add extra time before your order is ready.
How to Know If Your Order Is Delayed
If your estimated delivery date is approaching but you haven’t received a shipping confirmation email yet, your order may still be in production. Please allow an additional 2 business days for the production process to be completed and your order to ship.
Tracking Your Shipment
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and estimated delivery date. Tracking updates typically become active within 24–48 hours after the package leaves our facility. You can check your order’s progress at any time by visiting tracking.mimeophotos.com.
What to Do If You Still Have Concerns
If your order is delayed more than 48 hours past the estimated ship date, and you still haven’t received a shipping confirmation email or seen any new updates in your tracking history, please reach out to our support team so we can help.
