Using Your Mimeo Photos Account
Your Mimeo Photos or Motif account allows you to create projects online, place orders, and keep your order history in one place. Below are answers to common questions about signing in, managing your account, and accessing your projects.
Do I Need an Account to Order?
When ordering through our online web application, you must be signed into an account to create or edit projects and complete checkout. This ensures your orders are properly linked to your account and allows you to use features like our Re-Order tool.
When using the Mimeo Photos app, you can check out as a guest, but guest orders will not be linked to your online account unless you sign in at checkout.
In the Motif app, you do not need to sign in to create a project, but you must sign in during checkout if you want your order linked to your account.
Can I Check Out as a Guest?

Web: Guest checkout is not supported. You’ll be prompted to register or sign in before starting or placing an order.

Mimeo Photos app: Guest checkout is available, but your order won’t appear under your online account unless you’re signed in before checkout.

Motif app: You can create projects without signing in, but you’ll need to sign in during checkout to have your order linked to your account.
Tip: We recommend signing into the Mimeo Photos app (click the avatar icon in the lower right) before checkout so your orders link to your account.
How Do I Reset My Account Password?
If you’re having trouble signing in, you can reset your password anytime. Follow the steps in our Resetting Your Mimeo Photos or Motif Account Password article for detailed instructions.
Where Can I Find My Orders and Projects?
You can view your order history by signing into your account on mimeophotos.com:- Sign in with your account email.
- Click your account menu and select Orders to see your order history.
Important: Projects and Orders work differently:
- Orders: All orders placed while signed into your account (whether online or through the Mimeo Photos or Motif apps) are linked to that account and viewable online under Orders.
- Projects created in the Mimeo Photos or Motif apps: Projects are saved locally on the Mac where they were created. They will not appear online under your web projects, even if you sign in. To access or edit Mimeo Photos or Motisf projects, you must open the Photos app on the same Mac where the projects were originally created.
- Projects created online: Projects made on mimeophotos.com are saved to your account and visible under My Projects when you sign in.
If you are unable to locate an order or project online, confirm that you are signed into the same account used when it was created or purchased. For projects made in our applications, also ensure you are using the same Mac where the project was originally created.
