New Required Registration for Mimeo Photos
To give our users a better, more secure experience, Mimeo Photos now requires all users to sign in or create an account before creating or editing projects. This change applies to both our website and our application for Mac OS.
Why Registration Is Required
Registration ensures that your projects and orders are linked to your account, which makes it easier to:
-
Access your full order history online.
-
Take advantage of our Re-Order tool for quick repeat purchases.
-
Keep your online projects and account details secure.
You can learn more about how we handle your information in our Privacy Policy.
What to Expect
After selecting a product (on the website or in the Mac app):
-
You’ll see a screen asking you to sign in to your existing account or create a new account.
-
If you’re new to Mimeo Photos, choose Create Account and follow the prompts.
-
If you already have an account, select Sign In and enter your email and password.
-
Once signed in, you’ll be taken straight into the designer to continue working on your project.
Tip: In the Mimeo Photos Mac app, you can also click the avatar icon in the lower-right corner to sign into a different account at any time.
What Happens to Guest Projects?
If you previously started a project online without registering, don’t worry — once you create an account and sign in, those projects will automatically appear in your My Projects section on mimeophotos.com.
Projects created in the Mimeo Photos or Motif apps for Mac are saved directly on the Mac where they were made. These app-based projects don’t automatically show up in your online account, since they’re stored locally. If you purchased one of these projects through the app, it will appear in your online Order History, but any unfinished drafts will remain accessible only on the same Mac where you started them.
